Arguements against sacking Poyet

Aw diddums, did the bad man send Bardo away?

You've never had a good word to say about Poyet man, your credibility is absolutely non existent on this subject. You start fights with posters and when they argue the toss you stick them on ignore because you can't do anything other than throw a pathetic half-witted rant together, you can't argue your case effectively and you run away. Am I still on ignore big lad? Because you told me I was. Shortly after telling me Bardo was getting a new contract and you'd have my life when he signed it.

Now go away and rethink your life, you pathetic live with your mam and stay up late for the ten minute freeview loser.
Youve done the same on here tonight marra.

People have repeatedly asked you to name the players you believe to not be listening anymore.

You also said its the same core of players from Bruce's time which indicates it's Larsson Catts and JOS.

Larsson and JOS have been given new deals, one of which is captain, the other our outstanding player this season.

No one can seriously question Lee Cattermoles commitment.

Surely systems and tactics adapt to the personnel available? Square pegs in round holes don't work in any environment.

Is there a more suited formation than 3-5-2 with this squad? The sensible consensus was that it was worth a try given we were short on full backs and flush with centre halves, not to mention giving us the luxury of a partner for Defoe. What's for certain is that reverting to what hasn't worked for twenty odd games is unlikely to be a magic wand.

Credibility is.......... Rapping in with a huff, saying you are not going back, then begging for a cup final ticket and attending the final.

Mine is based on previous performance as opposed to the last season or so. Happening with Bruce? Unfortunate. Happening with Bruce and O'Neill? Troublesome. Happening with Bruce, O'Neill and Di Canio? hat trick! Happening with Bruce, O'Neill, Di Canio and Poyet? Manager's fault, apparently. Current performance doesn't outweigh previous problems until it's a good run of good performances. But there we go. I'm clearly a dinosaur for daring to expect players to do their best regardless.

No begging involved Board Big Lad, I chanced my arm and got very lucky. No huff either, come to think of it. Just resignation. Still, you keep cracking on thinking you're special because you go.

But it's a totally different set of players. So you're saying all pkayers have been guilty of not trying?

Including ones Gus both inherited, bought or gave new deals/decided to retain?

Surely he shares the blame for not shipping the players out. You stil havent named them either.

The senior players set the tone for the playing staff. They have a long and illustrious history of turning it on til the new deal arrives, then feet up. The rest of the playing staff will naturally take their cues from the example set, like in any workplace. They've hoodwinked plenty of managers. Poyet isn't without his faults but to pile all the blame on him for years of poor performance is typical PL 'fan' short-termism. How many managers do we have to get through before we realise they're only a part of the problem.

Why constantly bring it up if you've not got a superiority complex then. The truth is rarely a popular subject. Perhaps I should join the mooing herd for a quiet life.

The senior players are model professionals as O'Shea, Brown and hard workers like Cattermole and Larsson, you can't blame them for our poor form. You have no argument, sorry.

Senior players. I assume that means John OShea and Wes Brown (you still haven't named them, this is the third post of being prompted) both of whom are ex Man Utd players, one is captain of his country and also appointed captain of this club. Neither of whom I can see as being the type to slack off or put their feet up as you say.

The others are:

Seb Larsson, who has been the most improved player at the club this year, despite getting a new deal.
Lee Cattermole, who would run through brick walls for this football club.
Adam Johnson, admittedly inconsistent, but technically the best player at the club.

Now unless I'm mistaken, none of those don't bother turning up.

A good manager would take no prisoners if he did think that players weren't pulling their weight.

We keep appointing bad managers man. The players aren't the biggest issue.

I bring it up cos the board is full of non attendees who feel they can preach to match goers. You are preaching today and the match wasnt even streamed.
You paint tourself as an expert, tou arent, you are a joke.

Actually I've got one.

Charlie Oatway is crackers, so I'd be disappointed to see him go.

you won't name the players

Name them mate, people have asked you about 9 or 10 times here, and you won't name the players, because you know you can't

These senior players being quoted are the same ones that have consistently played under Bruce, MON, PDC and now Poyet. We've struggled to maintain our premiership status under all of them. we need to do better in the transfer market

I'm not going to spend half my life regurgitating the same list of players. They were named yesterday on another thread. The very fact that everyone wants to pretend they don't know who we're talking about sums the whole thing up. It's decided - it's all the manager's fault and the idea anyone else could be involved is too troublesome to think about. The hive mind has spoken and round we go again, none the wiser as to the real problem. Roll on twelve months time when we do all this again.

Did it yesterday. Now scuttle off and stick me on ignore as per usual.
