Enough is enough

Made no sense bringing him on and leaving Wickham on also if you ain't going to play 2 upfront. Wickham moved over to the wing to start with and then within 5 minutes of being on Altidore was moved over to the wing for Wickham to go up in the centre.

Altidore. Might be a nice guy. Might not be nice to get on his back. But enough is enough. Woeful and embarrassing.
If anyone defends him now, I give up.
Don't you dare criticise him. I did and all I got was abuse. Some posters seem to think he will come good eventually.
He is the worst centre forward I have EVER seen wearing a SAFC shirt and I 've seen some bad ones in 60+ years.

You know in that dream where your in the crowd with full kit on (just in case) and through some incredible circumstance the tannoy asks if there's anyone in the crowd that could do us a favour and take to the field and play the last 15mins for the lads, the miracle happens and your plucked from the crowd, a slightly overweight 30-something living his dream, that turns to a nightmare when you realise that this isn't just a kick about with your mates and you're completely overwhelmed by the occasion and haven't really a clue about where you should be, or what you should do, that's Jozy that is.

If I have to forgive his shit first touch and put it down to lack of game time and low confidence. If I have to forgive his total lack of positional awareness and put it down to manager instructions. If I have to forgive his weakness and generally poor strength and physicality for a man of his size. I can't forgive his lack of urgency and lack of desire. When you are so woefully out of form you simply MUST work your bollix off to turn things around. Hes simply wasting a shirt now. Give one of the kids his strip. At least they'll want to play. He's shit. So suit he might nr pushing Paul Stewart as my least favourite Sunderland player.
GANK

I am afraid that the lad has had long enough and he still shows no sign of real improvement. As time goes on it becomes more unlikely that he will ever come good in this league. I am sure that he's a nice chap and all that but he is never going to set SAFC alight

I have two words for you, David and Swindlehurst. Or Thomas and... four, I have four words for you... Hauser. Or... six.. I have six... Amongst the words I have for you are David, Swindlehurst, Thomas, Hauser, Andy and Gray.

Why? You think that the team and management as a whole was good enough to win today? Shake your own head.
No. I think the team was terrible today. But Jozy is really really out of his depth. He has no clue. I called him last year and got lambasted on here.
If you rate him as a footballer I'm genuinely bewildered

I think that to most players that come here to Sunderland find that they are in a bit of a comfort zone. Expectations are not very high - survive the season and you can simply tick over. That's what I saw today -players not wanting to humiliate themselves - but you know just doing enough.
