Right instead of moaning about Borini and crap, Who do you think over the last 10 years playing for us has went from being a joke/slated player to being a bit of a important/main stay of the team? i'll kick off with Nyron
Bit left field but in his early days he was arguably only ever a few seconds from a red card or rash tackle . Now he's worked on his temperament and his technique and he's the first name on the team sheet for me.
Bardsley last season. Didn't exactly reach 'hero', but considering where he got after being below a zero after Fulham it's probably the most dramatic turnaround in fortune I can remember from a player at SAFC
The Mig. Not exactly a zero but I never wanted him to be number 1 with how poor he was at collecting crosses.
12 months later or so he's sold to Liverpool for double figures & was our best player that season.
quite a few in the current side have gone from zero to if not hero then trusted first XI players...
Mannone, o'shea[ish], cattermole [definite hero], larsson, wickham, johnson [ish], fletcher has gone the opposite way, hope for areturn. would love to see altidore make a success of his career here....
