The fact that it was agreed almost a month ago suggests we probably could've negotiated it down a bit more. Rather than sitting around waiting for whatever is holding the deal back, surely the time would've been better spent negotiating the fee?!

The whole debacle has been farcical imo. If he doesn't sign in the next 24hrs something is seriously wrong with this deal.

Negotiate a fee, agree it and then negotiate again. I wonder what sort of fee the selling club will ask for.

I was told a couple of days before Liverpool went public that the offer was £8.5 million with some add ons. No-where near the £14 million mentioned.

We were talking to Rodwell for 6 weeks, the only difference is that Citeh didn't make it public.

I honestly don't think there is much else to know other than what Gus has said everything else seems to be at Liverpool's end.
