No, but those that go from the premier league to league one in 2 seasons, with a team of mercenaries who don’t give a shit about the club and will happily let long term staff get sacked rather than have the humility to try and do anything about their wages which were causing the situation, ran by charlatan owners totally out of their depth who are now memes for their David Brent esque antics, all of which they broadcast for the world on Netflix are jokes.
A middling league two team who are just getting by aren’t a joke, but we certainly were. Thankfully that has all changed now
Perhaps people who watched a documentary where our owner had a list of options with Ibrahimovic on them?

Well for many people their only real exposure to Sunderland was a documentary that detailed our collapse, consecutive relegations to League 1, and owners who made the club look like a laughing stock.
