Your three to go down right now.

I would absolutely love to see spurs go, West Ham and forest are showing fight especially West Ham who will be safe. Got a feeling Leeds might go tbh, I think it’s between them and spurs.

for me it’s Burnley, Wolves & Forest.

Forest have had a cracking win tonight but it’s only 1 point, and West Ham are showing the most fight of anyone. Spurs will have enough. Leeds too.
Since the first week of October (21 games), Wolves have got 14 points, Spurs and Burnley have got 15. The next lowest are Palace and Leeds with 23. It’s not just a blip, it’s 5 months of Spurs being poor. If they don’t beat Palace tonight, then they really will be deep, deep in it.

I don’t know if this has been said already in this thread but the fact Spurs and Forest have European commitments could really catch up with them. West Ham don’t have that distraction, and their win last night was a massive blow to Spurs, Forest and Leeds.

And I just wonder with Spurs, if Tudor doesn’t get a win tonight, will they start getting an itchy trigger-finger?

They have some tricky fixtures ahead of them.

The rumour yesterday was that he’d go tonight if they lose.

In terms of relegation, wolves and Burnley are gone.

It’s then one from West Ham, Forest, Leeds and Spurs. Looking at the games coming up, I can see West Ham and Spurs being 3rd and 4th bottom as we see out March

Definitely Spurs and Leeds will be safe. Predicting results in the PL is a lottery, but I would toss a coin between Forest and West Ham finishing third bottom.

Average of 36 for 17th place in the last 5 years

Looking at form, can not see spurs getting that but could see West Ham doing it

Would love to see wolves pull of a wonder escape. Odds when I looked were 18/1 which is ridiculously short to me

I just think they’ve got too much quality to go down. They qualified out of the league phase of the UCL in 4th or something so there’s obvious quality there, and I reckon they’ll get it right twice in the next 10, which will keep them up.

If we'd have lost on Tuesday, there'd be people in here who would think we were going down.

Leeds was a huge win that we needed, We’d of been potentially pulled in to the discussion with 9 games to go. 4 of our last games are against teams above us in the league, 2 against people around us and 3 are against those right in the mix.

You’d think we’d get enough from those three around us to make it safe but pressure and them fighting for their lives could of made us lose our heads potentially

Getting very tight at the bottom . Record points going to be needed for 4th from bottom.
Two wins will guarantee safety for us .
In the final 9 series of fixtures

West Ham have to play Wolves and Leeds.
Forest have to play Spurs and Burnley
and Spurs have to play Forest Wolves and Leeds

This suggest to me that the bottom teams will probably be taking points from each other so the points total of the highest placed relegated team is likely to be less than 40.

Oh yes..the season we went 20 games without a win. No wonder we had little sympathy for the Hammers on 42 points.

(It was quite an achievement mind, going down with that many points..think we went down with 40 one season...The gap between championship and the premier league has widened so a lot of the relegation places go to prooted teams nowadays and on a lot less points.)
