They have searched for a rival their entire existence. Tyne Tees creation pushed us and the Mags a bit closer to them, almost like they weren’t in North Yorkshire.

They are still searching. Maybe if Darlington made a step up.

That being said he would easily be your best striker and would dwarf Mendy and ugbo in terms of quality.

Boro excuses for low attendances….prices are too high, unemployment is rife, it was 8pm on on a Monday evening, we don’t give away any free tickets, Sunderland have good support in Stockton, Sky TV at 12 noon, we are only a small town…..they seem to forget the ‘unrivalled’ conurbation of Middlesbrough, Stockton and also Redcar & Cleveland that must be close to 500,000. However, having said that it’s not about numbers, it’s about passion of a town of city. Millwall support pulled their pants down.

They do have some have expensive season tickets but it’s a smoke screen for other much cheaper season tickets available. That said, I’ve listed plenty of other excuses. Always the victim, south of Peterlee.
