Your season

Points wise Coventry aren't a million miles away from Leeds / Burnley last season. They could emulate either of them.

Quite a big drop after that. I honestly don't think the Ipswich manager will learn. He's a my way of the highway type and his style won't work in the Premier League. As we've proved you have to build from the back. He thinks he can play football and attack.

I suppose a team could replicate what we've done but they don't really seem to have the set up we've had. I've said it before, teams could do a lot worse than employ Speakman and Stuart Harvey.
The ipswich manager wanted to focus on British players, top end championship players, very rarely works.
Cov have a couple of loan players that would eat up 35 million, similar to Burnley, Leeds are a pull in the Premier League for players looking to join the clubs fighting relegation.
I can't see Cov spending the monet needed to survive if I'm honest

If west ham stay up their manager will sort them out, a good manager papers over the cracks. Personally I think the 3 promoted teams drop down
Not sure the manager will be allowed to get in who he wants - even if they do stay up. Their recruitment is always shambolic. But I do take your point and I reckon it'll be the three promoted teams that goes down too. But I don't think it'll be any harder for us to survive next season compared to this one like.

The weren't even top end Championship players. He bought players from Blackburn, Hull and us and none were anywhere near the play offs. He thought he was cherry picking the cream. I think this season has proven they were OK but nothing special.

Yeah I agree, their record signing was last summer too, they signed a Norwegian striker who has scored 2 league goals in the championship. Seems recruitment is very much a weak point for McKenna

I think you guys have had a great season. Avoided the first season relegation comfortably.

I think you will finish 11th 12th which is fantastic for your first season.

What were you hoping for at the start of the season?
Hoping for?….14th-15th. Not getting embarrassed. Not getting badly hammered by the skunks.

Expecting?….17th, 18th, 19th….two miserable days around the scum games….being turned over by Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool etc.

The season we have actually had has been WONDERFUL!
