Yeah Sowter definitely back at the club. Somebody on here told me he plays club cricket down south when not required by Durham.

We have made one final and 2 finals days in our history we have finished bottom last 2 years. I want us to dj well but we have been terrible in T20 for years.

We lack power hitters and our bowling at times has been embarrassing stating facts does not make you negative.

We have some very good players I agree in this format but you were being negative about the 4 day stuff which we look decent enough.

The step up to division one has been harder than I thought and even some of our better players have looked suspect.

Potts has been my biggest disappointment mate I expected him to do great. But Siddle has totally out bowled hom
So far I think if Bedders and Robbo stay in great form we can finish mid pack and hopefully build on that.

Surrey and Essex look the stand out teams again.

Surrey certainly stood out today😀
 
I walked past Turner and Dwarshius yesterday at the ground so they are both here. Jones also walked past with Hilditch on the way to nets, so he was/is here too.

Looks like Sowter came over from Australia, rocked up at Normandy in 2013 and has played there every season ever since when available. Cant fault his commitment to Normandy cricket club, must be a lot of travelling from North to South

I'd have Carse as a pinch hitter also back Po' batting given his recent performances.

He was at the ground the other day in the nets, so not sure what the craic is with world cup selection. Having just realised it actually starts very soon which I didn't know (shows how interested I am). In which case McKinney for Jones and possibly Drissell for Ackermann as we'll need another spin option. Hayden Mustard is putting himself in contention as well though he isn't a bowling option so we'll see. Probably Carse/Potts might be allowed to play
 
Not sure who the 10th player will be as Jones would have slotted in after Turner and/or Bas. But both miss the blast until July. Wonder if they might try McKinney there instead.

Apparently ticket sales have gone quite well for our home campaign with a couple of bumper attendences expected beginning with Friday night so hopefully the weather is decent.
