Your best day as a Sunderland fan

Has to be the 0-3 last season.

Was absolutely smashed the night before, struggled like fuck to get the first couple of pints down at Gatsbys in the morning, had totally resigned myself to defeat in the build-up, then we won 3-0 and got home to hear that a Mag had punched a police horse.

f***ing brilliant day out.

Man alive class:)

Was around oRosso flat before game for a beer we could hardly drag ourselves to the pub

Sunderland 3-2 Burnley
Chelsea 0-3 Sunderland
Newcastle 0-3 Sunderland

Would probably be my top 3...... I had such a buzz after all of them. Beating Arsenal in the cup under MON was great too.

Friday night away at west ham steven elliot last minute winner to win the league. What a night

Probably when I first started going and experimenting with different places to watch. The boy's end in the Roker, changing views/ends at reserve matches, being first through the gates in the Roker and picking the highest up position at the back, sitting on a barrier and so on...

Chelsea away in the 85 Milk Cup. Unbelievable night and was staying locally that night and never thought we'd survive getting back to the digs. A group of about five of us were being hunted down by a group of about forty Neanderthals as well as the whole area being turned over by thousands of them. Made a final dash back to the flat, slammed the door shut and opened the fridge for a can and said " f***ing hell we're going to Wembley"

First game in 94-95 I think it was Luton Town at roker park lost 2-0 iirc so i knew what I was getting into.

1990 play offs. Going to school in Newcastle, just coming up to my A Levels at that point, listening to them bragging on about how after the 0-0 on the Sunday and the penalty save / sending off, they were going to beat us on the Wednesday. Never having seen us beat them before that, I fully expected to get beaten. Went from school after the game, got pissed (just discovering the joys of alcohol), and then being shitfaced for the game, but still, 23 years, remembering Mark McGhee hit the post, the two goals, of course, and the pitch 'invasion'. Happy days.

In a strange way the crowd reaction when 3 ogs down v Charlton." Always look on the bright side" and especially "We are Sunderland"

"One Bobby Robson" at Celtic was good as well
Are you f***ing joking me, one of your best days as a Sunderland was singing Bobby Robsons name at Celtic get a f***ing grip vie heard nothing like it, the guy was a mag, and a turncoat.

Getting my photograph taken with the first team squad at Roker Park when i was a kid. Rowell, Arnott, Elliott, Robson, etc. Can remember Jeff Clarke laughing and patting me on the head as i was in awe of being there. Still got the photo at my mum and dads somewhere!

When Gabbiadini put the second in against the Mags in the play offs was canny

Post 73 this was THE moment for me....Me and my brother were right behind the goal when that went in...one of the great nights.....the unwashed invading the pitch then bottling it was particularly satisfying
