Seems well written to me and not a sitcom done by some average stand up comedian that wants a laugh every 10 seconds.

They’re doing a good job of slowly bringing more of a 3 dimensional aspect to Billy’s character.

Cheers. Just watched the first three. I thought they were class, particularly 2 and 3.
All three series on iPlayer. Just watched series one tonight (again) and loved every bit of it. Lots of laughs but tonnes of poignancy too.
And Connor's mam is a proper ride although the show is great without that.

A friend of mine was at a wedding recently & she was also a guest. He got chatting with her and said she was absolutely sound. He asked could he get a picture taken with her, to which she obliged. But his lass suffers majorly from a bit of the green-eyed monster, saw that he was getting his picture taken with the actor & barged into the photo. He said he was fuming.
