There's a very small number of bands who look good and still make relevant music as they approach the age of 60, 35 years after they first broke through. Guns N' Roses had an amazing debut album, lost the plot and did a lot of drugs, finally came out with another album/albums that had a lot of good songs on, then completely lost the plot. I don't really have any interest in seeing them live now or any new music they came up with, but they shone very very brightly back in the day.
Saw them on their 1993 tour. They were only as good as their material, they didn't strike me as the kind of band that adds something extra in the live performance.
The Cult were hugely disappointing in the support slot mind, wish I'd managed to get tickets for the 1992 Wembley Show with Soundgarden and Faith No More
