Yorkshire v Durham : CC September 24

The worst things is that everyone predicted they would fold like this and not even force Yorkshire to back again. Thats how bad

We will wait till the fixtures are released in November to decide if we renew or not. If the championship matches start on a Saturday we probably will. If Lees has anything about him he should stand down as captain and in my opinion Ben Raine should be given it

Yorkshire players celebrating like they’ve won the Championship, not one of them went to shake hands prior to the celebrations. Just like their club, zero class.
They hate Durham - always have always will.
No excuses for Durham though. They've only got themselves to blame. Been saying it since the Somerset home defeat in May to anyone who would listen down at CLS that we were heading down.

My only regret is that I only went down for the first two days, as I would really like to be there now, go across to our balcony and tell Campbell and his bunch of spineless quitters what I really think of them right now. Given the circumstances this must rank as one of the most pathetic displays in one session by any team , anywhere .... in any game .... in the history of cricket... absolutely unforgivable.

Absolutely gutless, most spineless batting performance ive seen in many a year, not just from Durham but from the sport in general. Had absolutely everything gifted to them despite not winning since May. Points deductions, Hampshire collapsing from a position of victory. All we had to do was bat 2 sessions essentially. In any other sport heads will roll here, yet unfortunately both North and Bostock are absolutely teflon here. Bostock probably hasnt even realised that we are still playing 4 day cricket once the Hundred has finished. Make them walk home up the A1

Not usually one to stick up for them but sounds like they showed more desire in one hour of cricket than Durham have all season. Nowt to play for but didn't switch off and put their feet up.
