Durham have five bowlers.Three rest during the summer one plays when he is allowed but the most successful is not considered for England!

I'm a bit bemused by all this criticism of Gay. Imagine if we had Ricky and Jennings opening. One with an average of 35 and the other with 25?

Handed a lifeline by an 8 point deduction, handed a lifeline by Surrey winning, facing a Yorkshire attack who dont need a win, and still this team that have done nothing to save themselves in the last 3 games screw it up. Show some fight man !
