Yorkshire v Durham : CC September 24

Can't even score runs for the Park..his routine is live off one innings then people accept numerous failures
Scored a high score with a soft pointless ball at Surrey and scored well with pie chucking Vs Worcester. Granted he's had some scores, I'm just not convinced yet by him. 5 ducks this season is the second highest in the county championship and single figure scores will also be high. Not a batsman I trust as of yet

Just looked at the table after seeing the article about Hampshire relegated if it's a draw in this game. Why don't teams play 18 games considering there are 10 teams in the division?
Too much comedy cricket to allow your entirely reasonable query.

I'd be curious to see Gay and Clark swap places in the batting order.

Clark has batted up there failed miserably does not have the technique to open in red ball.

Plants his front foot so vulnerable to ball coming back in and plays to loose on the drive as well.

So don’t think it would work Gay is the most boom or bust player I have seen in a long time like.

Campbell is not a bullshitter. He’s anything but. He will know as well as anybody else that the team, stripped of its main attack bowlers, added to injuries and out-of-form players, would struggle to get 20 wickets. Of course he would never criticise the players (often youngsters) who have been drafted in.
Recruitment is the main problem.
Tbf he admitted that in his interview yesterday

"You are right.....Gay does have great technique but is so inconsistant......He could be a really good batsman if he can resolve the inconsistancy

Am I right in thinking that if Durham had got an extra 4 runs in the first innings they'd now be safe with that extra batting point...?
