Yorkshire v Durham : CC September 24

Couldn't take much comfort from staying up when the club is so rotten we will almost certainly go down next season.

Lees should lose the captaincy.
Campbell and Onions sacked.
Going on that interview Campbell is an idiot "you know how we play,we'll go out and try and win the game". No wonder the players' heads are down if that's an example of his motivational guidance.
He's had too easy a ride from the fans, presiding over this mess.

Agree about the captaincy.

I know you'll disagree with me which is fine but I am ok to stick with Campbell regardless. He's not blameless but I am ok to stick with him for now, I think he's been badly supported by people around him especially with recruitment and I think that's due to the obsession of North and Bostock with franchise cricket and wanting to reduce the schedule. However the counter argument against my view is "the league table doesn't lie" and I can't argue against that. Tricky one.

However Onions, North and Bostock should resign on Monday morning. They need to take a close look at the fitness people as well, the amount of injuries is not bad luck, they are clearly doing fitness stuff wrong and that needs addressing.

You mean the 'Durham Cricket Science and Medicine Department'. Give them their full title please.

Perversely we need Carse to be no good in Australia, Wood to retire from international cricket and Stokes the same. We might then have a chance to bowl teams out.

If we go into next year without a massive bowling upgrade then we could be relegated with fewer than 100 points.
