Yorkshire v Durham : CC September 24

Yes been negative all season playing 7 batsmen with no genuine all rounder yet we have collapsed on numerous occasions and the bowling is as bad as I can remember.

We can’t bowl a side out once mate never mind twice.

Our last title side of 2013 unbeaten as well winning 8 had Onions, Harmy, Davies and Plunkett as 4 prong pace attack 3 of them got 50 plus wickets with Onions leader the way for the division with 70!!!
It happens a lot in cricket. When they try to shore up the batting it becomes more fragile rather than less.

But I can see why he did it, because he didn't have bowlers

The BIG error was made before the season started by not having the bowlers. From their they were always trying to play catch up and not succeeding.

Stokesy out there once again, looking in the finest of fettle, whipping down ball after ball in front of the Western Terrace. Just what we need. Soooooo frustrating. And bloody ridiculous.
He's still hammering away out there, skittling the stumps in the nets, parallel to Rainey and Pottsy toiling away in the middle.

Is it possible for a team to get relegated without seemingly being any less bothered?
I haven’t seen any of this game, but their lack of effort or showing any interest v Worcs last week was enough for me. That’s what convinced me that the CC reorganisation was going ahead. It all had vibes of SAFC being relegated to Division 3 by the mighty Burton Albion.

We need to sign some proper bowlers next season. Raine can't do it on his own and the others at present are way below par.

Surrendering meekly as predicted. With their Championship lives on the line the bowlers (Raine excepted) have showed absolutely zero fight for a number of weeks.

Crap at Essex
Crap at home to Worcester.
Crap here.

We would struggle to bowl out a good club side currently sadly!

Just nipped to the loo and some twat, spotting my Durham cap, started singing: "We'll meet again, Don't know where, Don't know when..."
Hillarious lot, these Yorkies.
