Feels like most of your fellow Yorkshire fans have learned nothing from the racism scandal, just acquired a victim complex.Just looking at their forum, they're blaming Gibson somehow! Plus saying the credit for promotion goes to the (mostly white) players and none to the coaches. Unbelievable
Going up , let the bats get their average up and the rest of the lads have a chuckle and not slide about on wet grass all day. Last day of term . I'm sure given a vote ( which they probably informally did ) the lads elected to bat on and were rewarded for winning promotion.Bowled Northants out for 147, what's the friggin point, could have declared on 300 and gone for a win, no wonder 1st class cricket is struggling
Don't think the Yorkshire fans will be arsed with it been the last day. They're promoted & that's all they'll be bothered about. Mid season I'd agree thoughBecause they are in the entertainment industry, and First class cricket is in a steady decline
Not a big issue admittedly but it's not being very considerate to your guests.Don't blame them. Promoted, why send the lads out in the cold to field when nothing riding on it
why ? one of the best parts in cricket is watching your bats pile runs on , appreciating shots for the pure execution , watching the contest as bowlers that are being dominated keep going and get reward, or not but still try .You'd hate watching that happen if it was us. Disgusting
I doubt the guests would have been bothered given they achieved promotion. I'd have not been arsed if Durham were just smashing it about having just got promotion with no further chances of winning the league or falling a place. They'll have been on the piss on Saturday night as well, doubt they'll have fancied a day in the field yesterday. Not a big issue admittedly but it's not being very considerate to your guests.
Share the playing time batting and bowling. No way could Yorkies have lost the game by declaring midway through day.
For clarity ,The guests I was referring to were the visiting team not the spectators.I doubt the guests would have been bothered given they achieved promotion. I'd have not been arsed if Durham were just smashing it about having just got promotion with no further chances of winning the league or falling a place. They'll have been on the piss on Saturday night as well, doubt they'll have fancied a day in the field yesterday.
I don't really follow them these days. Go to TB and Derby a bit just to see some cricket. Wouldn't feel right supporting another county but doesn't feel right supporting Yorkshire eitherFeels like most of your fellow Yorkshire fans have learned nothing from the racism scandal, just acquired a victim complex.
Have you never considered following a less toxic county?
