smith continuing his good season. Excellent contributions across the formats from one of the more limited players in the squad.

Me too. He started off slowly but hit the accelerator after his 50, then everything he hit just seemed to connect with the middle of the bat.
 nurdling it all over the shop early doors, if I had the money I would be at the cricket all the time really enjoyed it the last few times I have went

Smiths innings today was one of the best one day innings i have seen by a Durham player at the the Riverside, absolute quality would never have thought he was capable of producing that, no slogging just excellent cricket strokes, and his running between the wickets with Muchall was superb. What made it even better was that it looked like a poor one day wicket.
Surey look a very average side but one name to remember Dominic Sibley, only 17 batted at three for them looked a quality player.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, decent crowd. Hoping o be be back for the final day of the CCC season.

Must say, on form - Smith is worthy of a contract renewal. Not been bad at all in all formats and at all suits this season to be fair.

Muchall too has been very important to the team in the shorter format(s)

Not been impressed with smith myself. Averaging 29.5 in lvcc, 10.4 in the t20. To be fair after yesterday he's got a good pro40 average of 62. I'd still sacrifice him if it helped to keep stokes/borthwïck/breese/benkenstein

Left the house and Durham were 97-4 so didnt expect much but by the time I got to CLS Smith was whacking it all over, I couldnt believe who was batting!

Partnership of 163 too? Surely a record for Durham.
