If you mean Onions, then yes he was down to play but missed today with a stomach bug, Thorp came in for him and ended up the pick of the bowlers.

Disappointing performance all round, I think we're a better team than we showed today, lets hope we get it right tomorrow.

First visit of the season for me today. Thought Essex looked the better side, their bowling was good apart from Saj who bowled at least two pies per over.
Pity Stokes got run out thought he batted well and was just about to tee off in the power play. Muchall did ok but should have been a bit more aggresive, Essex where quite happy to give him a single of each ball and thats pretty much all he looked.
Game pretty much over after first ten overs of their innings.
