Surviving relegation by 2 points is hardly mint. We finished 4th from bottom man.
scoring.
We were bottom with only 3 draws from the first 9 games. We were shipping goals and not scoring

Okay fair enough. But after he took over, Sam's win percentage was still worse than Poyet and O'Neil, who both got sacked. It was exactly the same as Bruce, who most people stag off. Also, Allardyce had a better win percentage when he managed Newcastle (where he got sacked) but i dont hear anyone ever say how good he was for them. We can make excuses for him as much as we like but ultimately the stats prove he wasn't actually that good.We were bottom with only 3 draws from the first 9 games. There is a small cadre of supporters on here who believe a sacking Bruce was the “beginning of the end” of that premiership stintIt was exactly the same as Bruce, who most people stag off.
'Very good'. After the window closed, from February until the end of the season, we won 4 out of 15. People's idea of 'very good' is a bit exaggerated. All of those had a few windows. SA didn’t. After the only window he had here we looked very good. I can’t stand him btw, didnt before he arrived and even less so after.
It's 7am.Where's Yann?
He's in Yarm, eating a yam with some jam.Where's Yann?

Is he with his mam? He's in Yarm, eating a yam with some jam.
Hope so. What's our leader saying, is this a knarring. In the stands tonight?
No,not a knaaring.Hope so. What's our leader saying, is this a knarring.
He's still be better than what we've got even though he'll be about 50 now.Knowing us we’ll probably sign the wrong aging Yann/ Jan end up with Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink leading the line on Feb 2nd
Club shop would really struggle with the shirt printing you’d feel. He's still be better than what we've got even though he'll be about 50 now.
If you completely disregard the utter shitshow that preceded him sure. But like others have said we were on target to smash our own 15 point record at that point. Was a miracle we survived frankly. Oniell took over with a very good squad, as did Bruce, and neither progressed at all. Sam turned some really shit players into something resembling premier league footballersOkay fair enough. Aye his win % didn't look great but by the end of the season we were playing really well, my memory may be well gone but did we not go unbeaten in our last 8 or something with some good wins in there. If you completely disregard the utter shitshow that preceded him sure. CorrectHe isn't coming so move on and stop yer dreaming...face reality. We gonna get some loan from a Prem club, 19 years old and then we find out he's another number 10 and not a defensive midfielder. Start of the season I said top two, after ten games I said play-offs. Now I reckon 10th.
