I gave Sadiki MotM. They simply couldn't get the ball off him. The same could be said for Xhaka but Sadiki was playing in a more advanced role which which is a busier area of the pitch and a harder position to play.

Sadiki was immense , thought Diarra had his best game in a long time

Our midfield absolutely bossed the game. Sadiki and Diarra had great games and covered an insane amount of ground. If we are matched up against another midfield 3, we are going to rings around them more often than not. Not too many midfields that are more physical and cover more distance.

He won't get in either.

We're not sexy or media worthy. There'll be only three midfield slots, and players who aren't anywhere near him but have all the media hype will get in ahead of him (see Eliiot Anderson).

I wouldn't bet against some absolute clogger like Bruuuurner getting in ahead of him either, due to the sheer number of shill "journalists" who vote on this stuff the Saudis have on their payroll.

If we ever have a better midfield than the one we currently have, we’ll be playing Champions League football.

I’d go as far to say that had they been fit and/or available all campaign we’d be competing for that this season given we’re only 6 points off it as it is.

That list of 25 players is absolutely appalling!!! Most of them have been shit this season
