Add the ones (mainly politics lot) who just repeat the same tedious comments ad nauseum looking for bites from right wing loons. And because they're on the 'correct' side, they get away with it.

It’s not generally a term of endearment is it? There are “ harmless, occasionally amusing but generally mildly irritating WUM’S” and “insidious, divisive and deliberately offensive WUM’S”.
The former are tolerable but usually still thought of as a bit irritating in my experience.

Yeah as far as I’ve seen. I certainly wouldn’t be offended if I was called one.
 
I like spug as a poster but he clearly pushes the buttons of quite a few on here and irks the mods. I do think his posting style at times is aimed to wind up people,when does a piss taker become a wum is open to debate mind.

Take the "pubs are finished" crack during covid.Loads of here just laughed and tucked him at a later date but some were raging at this constant line and got very angry.

I know Jardine isnt posting anymore but he loved winding people up and like many wums always does/did the "What me?" act when it was called out.

Loads of posters are a little uptight imo and take this place too seriously.

I’m not asking for sympathy far from it. I’m more wondering why it seems to be such an offence to be on a wind up when you’re not singling anyone out. I’m not even on about me there’s plenty of posters that do it and I personally love seeing it.

I didnt say you after sympathy,just imo your posting style winds some people up,you know it does,and sometimes you poke the bear accordingly.

Plus loads of threads where it's kicked off with you get deleted.

You didnt really think pubs were finished after covid.Wee Phillie,cheeses,Bag gate to name a few.All funny imo


Some people get canny nasty back at you as well mind.

No I know I was just making it clear. The likes of saying the pubs are finished was me arsing about with Dave Herbal. He didn’t mind and knew it was a joke. I was rightly blarn when they weren’t and I thought people pointing it out were funny. I’m not bothered at all to get the same back and that’s the way it should be. I quite like people winding me up. Not sure why everything needs to be so serious.

Well yes no one was hurt during pubs are finished posts and you took the blarn stuff on the chin.You are right,who cares.Some of the shit lads say on whatsapp groups is far far worse but we laugh it off.

It seems like a lot of people hate to be seen as wrong. I start threads sometimes giving my opinion then find I’ve changed my mind when I’ve read what others think. Rather than debate and change folks opinions threads often get deleted or moved so nobody posts on them. I love a debate and if I’m wrong then big deal. You just get on with it.
