Would this team beat the Mags?


I don't think the mags are world beaters. I think 18 out of 20 PL teams have been underwhelming this season. But on the pitch we're not on their level.

Can't say I'd be crushed by losing to them either. Derby defeats have always felt devastating in the past. But let's say we go up, I don't think I'd be sick the week before the derby the way I have been previously. It means something else, and feels like something else, when it's not culturally the cities of Sunderland v Newcastle but Sunderland v despotic bronze age head choppers.
 
Hah..ty for that. I'm no better than the next man though. Football is all about opinions. I just try to highlight things I see. I'll miss lots and be wrong about other stuff. So long as there's something there and it's entertaining eh.

Of course we could, they're so up there own arses they'd implode if a team costing next to nowt could compete with the richest club on the planet.

This. The last thing on my mind at the moment are the mags who epitomise everything that is wrong with football. Whilst I despise them with a passion, that pales into insignificance compared to the love and pride I have with OUR club.
