England have a great chance but there is doubt about their ability to adapt on less helpful batting wickets. They'll be there or there abouts but I think Australia are coming into form at the right time, having Smith and Warner back strengthens their batting hugely and Starc and Cummins should cause plenty of problems up top. They also have 2 good spinners in Lyon and Zampa, and decent back-up seam options in Behrendorff and Richardson. I fancy they'll have a good tournament.

India will also be right up there, the WIndies have the ability in the squad to go far but you can never be sure which side will turn up. New Zealand should do well again, South Africa will be heavily reliant on Rabada and Steyn but could beat anyone on their day. Pakistan looked average in the warm-up series but usually spark into life at major tournaments. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh can be written off IMO.

Overall, it should be a cracking tournament and I'm going to back Australia to beat England or India in the final.

Bairstow might not be now :oops: you don't need to be the top run scorer to be the best player, quick fire runs are often seen as better than the amount Scored and Buttler often changes games. Buttler likely to face less a lot balls then Bairstow over the tournament too.
