Last time I was at Wolves, no pub in the town let away supporters in. Had to drink in Brum.
Well hopefully that's changed pal. It was always the Railway Tavern and Blue Brick but the latter is now a hotel. I wouldn't imagine being a high priority policing game as I've never really witnessed any bad feeling with you Mackems apart from when we were batting each other for promotion from the Championship.

I still risked my neck on that dual carriageway - safer than that sodding subway.

Fantastic memories, late winner or equaliser....equaliser iirc?
Late winner.
I remember it well.I was driving and on the way back one of the lads in the car who had been asleep suddenly sat bolt upright and blurred out "stop the car I'm going to spew"
Unfortunately I didn't make it and he preceded to hurl his guts (a mixture of beer and pie) all over the other lad in the back.
Had the car cleaned (or he did) but to the day I sold it I could still (probably in my mind) smelly that spew!!! 🤮🤮

Still the same. Majority in the centre of Wolverhampton are home fans only.

Me and a mate even went to the Jody Craddock testimonial years ago and we were turned away from a load of pubs that day too

been told to stay away from this area

i see the train lines are closed between York and Darlington. gonna be a chew one. might go via carlisle

Alternatives to Broad St could be John Bright St, the Arcadian Centre or Chinatown.

Or maybe around Bennet's Hill/Newhall St north of New St.
