Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sunderland AFC 3pm Match Thread

Get a drink in me, nah I’m sound fella.

His attitude was disgraceful as was his and others performance. There’s a difference between passion and petulance.

Performance is of course important, I’d rather have the attitude of Xhaka than him.

If a lesser performer had behaved that way I reckon you’d have no issue with me saying get rid.

Anyway off for a drink. Of pop haha
Well if you were saying get rid because he was a poor player that'd make sense. But you're not. Your saying get rid because he didn't go over to the fans today and he fired back at a supporter last week.

You do know Xhaka left Arsenal under a cloud, arguing with fans etc? FWIW since he's been with us his attitude has been superb. Not that I expect all players to be the same. However if Xhaka was a poor player, having a great attitude wouldn't cut it. As what I care about is how a player plays. Obviously.

I’m referring to forest if you read previous posts mate
You used today's game, him not going over to the fans as part of your gripe.
There wasn’t a single Sunderland players performance today that could be described as as “disgraceful” . Not one. 10 men battled hard for a well deserved point.
On Mukieke (today's match thread) the poster said he's a prick and should be sold.

Have the ref bumming brigade been on yet to defend that clusterfuck of a ref and his mates on VAR today?

They get worse every week, the handball just before full time just summed them all up

Incompetent arseholes.
The red card is a rule issue not the referee. What I do have issue with is the stamp on Hume not being a red, their goal not being disallowed for a clear foul and the penalty at the end not being given. He was shambolic for those.

That was a small part. Still relevant but I was mainly referring to his behaviour v forest and it’s continued into today. Best thing he could’ve done is gone over and applauded the fans in an effort to right the wrongs of the forest game but no away he goes. Just don’t like it

He went over to the screen and agreed to send Ballard off, Calvert Lewin more or less did the same thing at Wembley last week and it was ok?

they make it up as they go along.

The fact he sent off Ballard, booked 4 of our players and none of Wolves’ says it all.

Sounds like you think our fans are a tad precious. He argued with one fan. I imagine the vast majority aren't even thinking about it. The posts on here today are an indicator.

Was it the same ref/officials? If not, it's as it always was, different officials interpreting things differently. Just now there not only the ref on the pitch applying judgement, but others behind a screen too.

The hair pull is a red card. Simple as that. The Calvert Lewin one was the mistake. It's impossible to argue that. The rule is absolutely retarded, but that isn't the referees fault. The other decisions you can have a go at the ref for though

No but why was the same thing ok last week in one game with VAR but next week it’s a red card offence?

Nope, same ref sent the Manchester United player off for the assault on Calvert-lewins scrunchie.

The context of 10 ten but still poor, woeful defending again.

Anybody care to explain Hume in mf yet again. He certainly doesn't help himself and people wonder why some are unhappy.
part of the journey, fine margins, lessons bullshit again in the press conference next week.
The bloke is doing a good job. Easily 7/10.

See my edit.
One fan ? Half the stand was fuming with his reaction from what I could see
Not what I saw mind. Some were fuming at the fumer. Muksy was clearly just going at the one fat fan giving him lip.

Ah, so this ref has dished out reds consistently for hair assault? Or same ref gave two different calls for similar hair assaults?
