Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sunderland AFC 3pm Match Thread

Yep … you have to have experienced extra time penalties at Wembley agains Charlton to know how bad life can be … funnily enough some youngster last week was bemoaning how bad it is today … not even close to the 1970s not even close
Charlton was an awful day. I watched it in the Phene Arms in Chelsea with a certain George Best and a mate of his who used to play for Lincoln. It is the first and only time I have wept after a football game although to be fair if you are in the same pub as Bestie you may have had a few.

I went to Charlton when the lads were playing a few times after that and it is a friendly club but that day!

Wow … George Best … I had a ticket unbelievably as now I cannot get any … totally sick at the end

I think we can be hopeful for it without berating the club for not achieving it.

But that's the way some people are. If we somehow finished 6th, there would be "fans" criticising the players who caused us to miss out on Champions League.
Thats the minority of supporters. Cant worry about them they'll never be happy.

Id love to just finish above the mags as that will piss them off massively. Tall task given how our recent form is going tho
