Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sunderland AFC 3pm Match Thread

If I had a choice between finishing above them, but losing both derbies, or finishing below them (and staying up), but winning the derbies I know which I’d have chosen.
Same, think we'll finish above them anyway, but they should be finishing well above any newly promoted side. Didn't sell their souls to finish 12th and win the above Sunderland cup.

FFS, we can all criticise, but ha'way, We've had the season we've dreamt of for years. Let's enjoy it. Personally I'm not bothered about Europe, let it all come in good time, let's establish ourselves and good things will happen, let's enjoy this season. Ha'way The Lads
As long as it's still on the table, we may as well make the most of it.

Got Forest away next week which will be tough
Be close either way , be good to finish above them but it doesn’t define our season
We’ve done them twice , that’s more important
Agreed but the way their season has gone they'll cling onto anything. They'll see it as a win. I wanted them to have no excuses. Beaten twice and below us.

I have us down for 1 point. They'll only need 1 win/3 draws.Theyll just do it imo.

Aye cos we haven't waited long enough

It'll be another 25 years to get as close again
That's the spirit mate, I mean our squad will have an extra years experience, the majority of them are young and are still improving, there'll be 3 worse coming up next season and we'll also have a decent amount of money to improve the squad. If you thought our best chance of Europe was the first season after coming up as playoff winners then I dunno what to say.

Let's not let the last few games cloud what has been a great season, we were all thinking we would be relegation certs this time last year
