Woltemade wants away


If they actually played the bloke as a target man instead of trying to use him like messi in the 10 role then they might have a decent player on their hands 🤷🏻‍♂️
 
Brought in a completely different striker to Isak, but refused to change their style of play at all....great to see them waste so much money. Last summer window could have proppelled them into the top 4 on a regular basis.....however wasting £225m on Elanga, Woltemade, Wissa and Ramsey has set them back years.

It made no sense, they used isak making runs off the shoulder and stretching play. It allowed tonali etc to play the balls over the top or stretch play to the wings. No isak and playing the same way has made players like Gordon etc look shite as the defenders ain’t backing off fearing isak in behind. They got turned doon by so many players, for example ettitake is the perfect replacement but obviously chose the bigger club.

He is he’s just being set up to fail as the lad above says they’ve not changed styles. Seen some ripping the piss because he’s not winning all the headers etc when he’s clearly not a target man either.

If at 6 foot 7/8 whatever he is and he can’t play as a target man or win a good percentage of headers that come his way then he may want to find a different profession..

Watched him torture teams for Germany like. Different football entirely but he started well for the filth. Play for him and he will cause a lot of problems for teams
