Woltemade wants away


Had one good season before the mags signed him. Said they'd massively over paid at the time and I look correct. He really should've stayed in Germany for one more season tbh
 
I think there is a really good footballer in there somewhere but it probably needs to be a CF and probably won’t see best of him for a few years, by which time the Mags will have lost a shit tonne of money on him.

What do you class as a really good footballer? Champions league player? I just don't see it at all. His height and build is his biggest hindrance fir the way he plays and it should be his biggest asset. I don't ever see him making it in the prem. He's a mid table bundesliga player , players like that are worth 10 million.

I think he could be a good premier league player, not a top champions league player but perhaps good enough to play for a side that qualifies. Not sure he’s suited to premier league just yet but he’s young and players of his build often don’t get close to their best until mid to late 20’s. I think the mags seriously overpaid, over double his value I reckon.

I've honestly yet to see him do anything to indicate there's a good footballer in there. I don't just mean against us. I don't wish the lad ill, he just kind of fascinates me in his failure to fire

He's 24 so he's already mid 20s, looks to me like he has a lot to learn, I don't think he has a football brain, sonething you can't teach, looks clumsy, can only seem to do the very basics

Needs to be used as a Niall Quinn type forward with Wissa playing off him.

Basic common sense tbh.
