The Wolsey, used to be my matchday pub of choice, for pre, and post match pints, back in the early 80's.
It was a cracking pub, back then, and was always busy on matchdays.

Doesn't appear to be any work going on here to remedy whatever damage happened. Is it reopening?
Apparently it's been gutted inside. Was speaking to the manager at Remembrance Sunday, doubt it'll be open this side of Christmas.

I had reason to be looking on a site on line, totally unrelated and saw what definitely looked like The Wolsey advertised.
On the pics the pub name was blanked out and on the info it never mentioned the name of the pub.
I'm wondering though whether it might be out of date an old ad.
Best thing they could do with it is flatten it and rebuild it to a better design and layout. Like the place though.....
