They pick at least one England test player each year. He's probably the only one who hasn't been picked yet.

Thought Charlotte Edwards had already been picked.
 
They clarified on twitter thats its for performances during the english summer. Still tho, internationally he was poor apart from one score.
 
Early on in the season Root was superb for Yorkshire. His innings up here were sublime. Clearly its for that and not England.
 
everyone else good has already been picked. sure stokes would have been picked if it was for the year and not just summer.
 
If its based on the English summer then why wasn't Ian Bell picked, he was the main difference between the teams

They may need to look at adapting this if its to retain credibility. Paul newman in the DM was saying this too yesterday.
