Windscreen chip advice

Got a stone chip yesterday, about 20mm across in the middle of the screen. Autoglass website states I need a new windscreen but that's going to cost a fortune. Any alternatives? Any resin you can apply? Glue? BluTac?

Mark it with marker dots and see if it gets bigger,cracks etc ..if it does get it changed ,20mm is a massive chip ?!

If you can imagine my ring piece, the chip is the hole, the 20mm is the full extent of the stress cracks

Just get it changed, you'll have to do it before the next MOT anyway!
