I don't think they are, it's handing money over to Russians given the current climate that's raising concerns.

I think the difference is that there has been sanctions put in place to try and avoid supporting Russia financially while the war is ongoing.

I just cant see us signing Mendy. He’d be here by now. He’s the CF version of Will Still. I d be over the moon if we end the window with this lad, a permanent experienced CF and Mayenda as our CF options.

Think Mendy will be the 9 anyway. Wilson seems like a bit of a bonus signing if it happens. Don’t think anyone would be too bothered if it doesn’t. As long as we keep Clarke and maybe get a forward PL loan in.

From the few clips of the lad his style and movement looks like it would suit the way we play more than mendy for me .
