I genuinely don't know whether we can legally do business with a Russian club. However, if he was sold to a certain French club 
then resold onto us, that would circumnavigate that problem.

Any loan from abroad has to have an option to buy so at least if he's any good we would have already agreed a deal.

He can be sold and resold by any club but unless regulations have changed, no player can be registered to play for more than 2 teams in a calendar year.
Don't take this as gospel mind because I've seen some articles say that it's 2 clubs per season and some say that's over a calendar year.
