Maybe because Mike Ashley would have slapped him down hard on Day One.
Probably sees Donald as a much easier “mark”.

I do think Donald could use him too. He's took a lot of focus off Donald.

If Donald can keep hold of the club for another 6-8 months he will know how likely it is for us to get promoted. And if we do he can sell a championship club and make his money.

Of course we can. It's a ridiculous thing to say. And every time people have said it over the last few years they have been wrong.

Portsmouth ended up in League Two. Sheffield United ended up in League One for 6 years. Coventry rent a ground in a city that's miles away. Charlton face being thrown out of the League.

Of course it can get worse if we get an owner even worse than Donald.

Sorry Mr Serious.

This board is full of self righteous twats at times.

We’ve had a multi billionaire, we’ve had the ex player led consortium, we’ve had the nice but dim man with a plan....

Where we at?

Storey will never own SAFC but the next owner(s) will have more than a touch of craziness to met SDs price.

I think I love him.

Every potential owner in the modern game is one of two things: an egotist or an asset stripper. The modern cult of celebrity has changed the landscape of football, and for the worse no doubt.

If this fella is the figure head and has backers to the tune of £50m+ then I’m in. Business acumen with the sheer rollercoaster of this bearded wonder will do for me.

We can’t sink any lower. We are as big a laughing stock as we can be. Let’s go for a heap of crazy and ride the wave.

I agree, listening to the interview now and I have my fingers crossed it’s him

I’m still of the view that Donald is serious about selling this time and it’s not just a dog and pony show with Storey as his distraction. He tried twice to win promotion and fluffed it. A third attempt with Covid19/No crowds has made him desperate to sell before his resources shrink further. He never imagined owning SAFC into 2021.

We will find out soon enough who is right I suppose.
