There’s a NDA in play, but this bloke has never shut up about buying us on twitter, throwing about wild fantasies about spending this and buying that, and now rocks up at our stadium wearing a retro shirt?

It’s a publicity stunt, surely he is nowhere near buying us

Some alleged ITKs who are not usually bullshiters suggesting he might be...

Can't f***ing believe its come to this. People are just accepting it too, because he's a) not Donald; b) might - who f***ing knows - have money.

Seen people using that bullshit ‘surely deserves a chance’.

This isn’t a new striker who we’ll give a few games to see if he scores, or even a manager to see if he can turn us around.

This is the clubs entire existence. You don’t just ‘give someone a chance’ with that.

People pelting me for saying I hope he fails fit and proper test which, irrespective of what we think, he clearly f***ing should.

The line about him having four famous big business men backing him that he can't name is the same crack he used to use when he became involved in his ill-fated Formula One fiasco

He says he'd be a minority shareholder, is he any less trustworthy that donald?

I'm not for one second advocating him and I don't see him buying the club.

Whatever we say about Donald we know two things about him that are different to Storey.

1. He can just about run us competently enough to keep us in League One (things can ALWAYS get worse).
2. He doesn't have a string of court cases, business controversies and allegations of financial impropriety following him. We get pissed off about the deal he cut with Short, but look at Storey's past - makes that look positively angelic.

Don’t get me wrong mate I’m not meaning to give you pelters. I get it but there’s too much unknown to be talking about the end of the club etc. I’m definitely not saying we should just roll over and have our bellies tickled, after the Donald fiasco we need to be more vocal and hold our owners to account. At the end of the day though we can’t pick our owners and starting off on a sour note before we even know the facts gets us nowhere.

Valid points. However, if he has major backers then its noght and day from Donald and his loans to keep the club going...

Its a massive if though I understand that
