Will Still - Lens Manager

The football world see as a bit of a joke. Listen to Sam Allardyce and JOS on that podcast they done, you could hear they still cared for the club, but at the same time they clearly were calling out the goings on at this club, and that’s two people who care for us.

Nixon is constantly giving us grief, and that’s the general consensus in the media. Even our own journalists who support the club are calling it out and writing negative pieces about us.

The footballing world, not just in this country, but everywhere we’re flabbergasted by the mags debacle, I saw reports from America, Australia etc. absolutely slating the decision, and pictures of our end decorated in there colours. We were an absolute world wide laughing stock.

Sacking Mowbray rightly or wrongly was met with a lot of wtf in the footballing community in this country. Hiring Beale the same, so many people questioning it, then the added embarrassment of what he actually done when he came here, all over the media for Hume gate, then all the ghost Twitter stuff.

Add to that the constant mentions on media platforms of how the club have not had a competent striker for how ever long, it’s constantly called out, along with a lack of experience.

Prior to this season all the media coverage about how KLD lied to us about the shares, and who owned the club. The negativity that Stewy and Charlie brought to the club, whilst in the main fans were sympathetic to us, it still brought bad press the shit they were coming out with.

Now most recently whether excuses are made or not, the footballing community are all over the 100 day without a manager headline.

People can put there fingers in there ears, and bury there heads as much as they want, but the fact is in football circles, the media and amongst other fans, SAFC are currently a hot topic, and very much a bit of a running joke pal.
Finally. The voice of reason.

The voice of sanity.
Now is EXACTLY the time for staffers to be on holiday.
Any announcement is superfluous until the new man can actually do something... like sort out his coaching team, consult on a plan for recruitment ('cos he will have a say, despite many fools thinking otherwise) and get settled domestically.
A contract will probably run from the first of the month, so Saturday at the earliest, or maybe later if the 'launch' is to be announced with a full management fanfare.
It would take a seriously sad or disturbed person to consider this process so ridiculous as to laugh at it!

Good post

Until Speakman and Dodds are sacked and KLD eschews 'The Model' or sells up

We are not going to recover, unfortunately I cannot see any of the above happening.
