Will Still - Lens Manager

Lens leaders quickly reacted. While Franck Haise is about to commit to Nice, northern decision-makers want to go fast to find his successor. A short-list has been established. In particular, it includes Bruno Genesio.

But the leaders have stopped in recent hours on another well-known profile of Ligue 1: Will Still. , the young technician is perceived, as is, as the most suitable profile to embody the new Lens project. First contacts have been established.
Another mid table team. Can't see him going there when he's stated he fancies a crack at a job in England and there's a few to go at right now. Burnley added to the list today and if Chelsea get the fella from Leicester that'll set off another merry go round

Not much difference between managing Lens and Reims, at least domestically. Lens are in the top French league and have qualified for the Europa Conference, but Still has been very clear that he wants to manage in the Premier League. Managing us is the better step to achieving that imo, even if we don't go up, making a good name for himself over here will be better for his reputation in England than taking a similar job to Reims in France.
Lens are miles bigger than Reims.

If Lens want him, he’d be insane to turn them down to come here.

Depends on where he sees his career developing. Lens finished five points and three places above the side Still left. I appreciate they’ve got a decent history but it’s another club in the league he’s openly said he wants a change from. We’ll soon see I suspect

Someone talking sense for a change 😉
