Will Still - Lens Manager

I just pray that if will still does fall through they have another young foreign coach who’s up and coming tactics wise.

I don’t want someone like heckingbottom who is potentially set in their ways or refuses to bring new ideas to football. It’s ultimately what made mowbray fail long term as he refused to change tactically.

Someone with a fresh look on football as a whole. Like where we pulled maric from etc
Why does the manager have to be foreign?

In Sunderland's realm, a sorry tale,
Kyril Dreyfus, incompetent and frail.
With promises grand, he lured us in,
But delivered naught but heartache and sin.

A wealthy heir, with no football sense,
He bought the club with a pompous pretense.
'We'll rise again,' he vowed with a grin,
But his reign has been nothing but a spin.

Transfers unwise, decisions absurd,
He's squandered our funds, left us in the dirt.
The team struggles, wallowing in despair,
While Dreyfus watches, without a care.

He hires and fires, like a child with toys,
Treating the club as his personal joys.
Players and fans, alike, have lost faith,
In this incompetent who's sealed our fate.

The Stadium of Light, once a beacon bright,
Now casts a shadow, filled with blight.
Sunderland's future, once so promising,
Now lies in ruins, thanks to him.

So let us sing, a mournful rhyme,
About Kyril Dreyfus, our club's second darkest time.
May his reign end, and a new era begin,
Where Sunderland can rise, where hope can win.
Absolutely no one is reading your attempts at being zany.

You have a limited amount of minutes on this earth and you chose to spend a number of them typing out that bollocks. Dear me.

Nowt short of incompetence from the club, and not for the first time.

It doesn't seem like any of our ambitious targets, we've interviewed or spoken to, has the appetite to work under the clubs structure. Any questions asked by a possible incoming head coach was probably met with a politicians answer.

This latest mess takes me back to when news had broke about us interested in Farioli. It makes me wonder if he was indeed interviewed to take over then, but gave the club a swift f#ck off, so the club went with the "We're 100% with Tony" bollocks instead.

Feels like we've been down this road before, yet still encountering the same problems due to the clubs unwillingness to bend its model/structure/culture or whatever bullshit they call it.

I said I’ve haven’t heard anything since the start of the week. So just if anything has happened that’s what I’d want

He doesn’t but there’s next to no English managers that fit that bill
How do you know there’s a lack of English managers/coaches no one had heard of most of the foreign names linked with job if they’re being honest

I tend to be more of an optimist, and find the hysteria ridiculous, but the club do need to get a shift on.

What the Echo reported today may well be some deflection by the club, but it does give a good reason as to why not much is leaking - they're not that far down the line in terms of making an appointment.

I find the current situation to be completely weird, there's a lack of urgency that you don't normally see at a football club who don't have a head coach.
I don’t really disagree with any of that.

But I don’t see how it means it’s embarrassing, the clubs a laughing stock and the club is burning.

Like I’ve said the club haven’t let anything out and it’s all rumours yet people are bashing the club over made up shite by posters on here or journos

I mean no matter which way you look at it, it’s been over 100 days since Beale left, and we just seem to be no closer to appointing anyone.

Basically it’s an absolute disaster
