Regardless of him coming to us or not if he was to go to Lens my opinion on him would change a lot. He’s made it clear exactly what he wants his next step to be. For him to chose a team who finished 4 points ahead of his old team and that only happened because his form dropped off a cliff so much they decided it was best for him to leave early. It screams a lack of ambition

His contract has a 14 day cooling off period so if signed and announced tomorrow it still won’t be binding and we’d have to wait another 2 weeks whilst he shops around with Lens and whoever else

Why on earth wouldclubs agree to sign a contract on that basis ....makes us look desperate if true and i don't believe it ! if your interviewing for a job yo want the best person who is interested in the job not waiting for a better offer !

Why not wake up to reality. SAFC are the biggest joke in the country. We have no manager, don't know which players will be here next season and anybody who buys a season ticket is just getting mugged off. Probably in a few years the stadium will be demolished and turned into housing.
