On Wearside's banks, a legend stands,
With red and white stripes, they hold the lands.
Sunderland AFC, a name renowned,
For passion, pride, and battles fought profound.

The Stadium of Light, a beacon bright,
Where fans unite, with all their might.
From Roker Park, to this modern stage,
The lads in red and white, they turn the page.

Through triumphs won, and times of woe,
The Mackems' spirit, it will always flow.
From Charlie Hurley, to the modern day,
They fight for glory, come what may.

So raise a glass, to the lads in red and white,
Sunderland AFC, forever shining bright.
With every chant, and every cheer,
They'll conquer all, and conquer fear.

Can someone send this to Will Still, I think it may just push him into signing on the dotted line.

Is he? Got Derby in the play off final. Finished 4th with Chelsea under a transfer embargo. Kept Everton up. Was is he as bad as everyone says? Also one of the best midfielders in the premier league era which obviously doesn’t make him a good manager but certainly makes players want to sign for him.
Arise Sir Frankie…..the Mackem crown prince.

July 1 iirc. Contracts end June 30……or used to.
I thought that mind.

I’ve got no problem with lads posting in good faith what they’ve been told or heard from sources they believe are reliable. The club is so watertight now that things people are told in good faith one day could be old news and bear little resemblance to what’s happening a couple of days later.

The tweet from Fabrizio Romano about Still being open to a new project and the subsequent news from L’Equippe (both usually reliable sources) although can be interpreted either way in terms of Still to SAFC being close, tend to leave me feeling it’s not as close as people have been led to believe.

Hopefully things will come to a conclusion soon
