Will need to step up and may well do so. It will be tough as, I suspect, he will be part of a team that struggles to stay up. I expect he is going to be one of many that struggle in Premier League then look amongst the very best in Championship.

As it’s not with us whilst I wish the lad well in his career (unless playing against us) I couldn’t care less.
He was class when he was here and thanks for his contribution but he’s not our player anymore

He's decent. But if we got promoted this season, I think he would struggle in our side. By the same extension, I think he'd struggle in Ipswich. Whisper it, but we possibly have a pair of players who's ceiling is higher, when they are his age.

Probably not but he's joined a team that won’t do that well. He might put himself in the proverbial shop window and hope another Premier League club will sign him next year.
