Will Jack Clarke cut it in the Premier League?

I don't think he will either. But if he did then the negativity would he even more unbearable
He’s a good player, invaluable to us. I’m gutted he’s leaving because he’s our best player. But I don’t think he’ll be anything more than a very ordinary bottom 6 PL player. In footballing terms I think this is a terrible move for him. As far as his bank balance goes, it’s a no brainer.

If we had got promoted what would we think how he would do? It's basically the very same. We would be raving and positive. Reality is Ipswich will probably struggle (The same as us if we went up) If they go down then Ipswich will still have one of the best players in the league and won't have to accept low ball offers as they will have the parachute payments. Cracking deal for them. Not the worst move for him, and a pretty shite deal for us, but then again look at the teams who have been interested in him and who has bid etc...Burnley, Leeds, Brentford, Ipswich. There is a reason no one bigger has bid. Always played his heart out so I normally give grief to players who force a move away. There have been plenty. TBF Clarke is one who no one can doubt his commitment while wearing that jersey which is basically all we ever ask.

Not sure he will, lacks real pace and Trippier who was distracted thinking of the next bird he would shag still had him in his pocket.

Hope he does well, whether he will be as effective in the prem I have my doubts, but it’s a good buy for Ipswich, even if they come down he’s cheap enough to keep to get promoted again

He'll be less involved, have less influence and find everything more difficult. Depends what cutting it means ... he will be the same player, but seem not as good. Wonder how he'll handle it, and possibly being on the bench rather than a guaranteed starter. He won't pull any trees up is my opinion.
