Will Jack Clarke cut it in the Premier League?

With Ipswich I have my doubts. If he's signed for a stronger team who have intentions of attacking and winning games, I've no doubts he'd have done brilliantly. An awful move for him on a football level, no doubt a great move financially.

I think it’s a good move. Ipswich play a stretched game with quick attacks on the counter. If they continue that this season (don’t see why not) he could excel. He’d have been great in their team last year

They'll most probably be defending for 88 mins of most games.

I think a lack of interest by the more established premier league clubs shows 2 things, that there isn't the money due to the FFP or what its called this year, clubs having to sell before they buy and a few looked at his performance against Newcastle and had doubts about his ability against a decent level of defence.

He ll be good signing for them. Will get them up the pitch whilst retaining the ball. His habit of holding on to the ball a split second too long will be more obvious in the prem. I still think they’ve had our pants down fee wise considering we rejected 15m from Burnley and on the back of the season he had just had. The person in charge of reinvesting whatever money given is the bigger worry imo.
