If true about the £3m valuation then it's either Wigan refusing to sell, or a test to see how desperate we are. So far we have gone back with increased offers. What will we do now? Stick or twist?

There's no way there's no desire. Not a chance. We simply would not have spent so much time bothering with it.

He's got a price. Fuck knows what that is.

Up to the the owners and the manager.

But if it's true that the price has been met and they have increased it, and that they now want £3m (???!!!) then, if it was up to me, I'd be making other arrangements at the same time as keeping Wigan dangling, and leave them with a very unhappy player they don't want, and a couple of million they don't have.

Just seen the Wigan chairman on Sky stating he likes to do deals at the last minute to get the best price for outgoing players. He has the best hand in this situation. Can't really blame him.
