Will Grigg's on fire, signed!

Sinclair went because there was a deadline set. If we kept him longer we'd have a shite player and (a % of) his wages for the rest of the season. Maja literally refused to play another game. Would you have kept him?
We should have signed a striker by now even if Maja stayed.

Going back with another bid apparently

Must feel that a deal can be done surely

There was no offers in for maja so we were not able to shift him quick.
Maybe he was offered to Bordeaux with a view to clearing some debt we had with them.Majas behaviour back fired on him.We move on

Tell them to do one, and move on, in the future the tides will be turned and Wigan will be the ones wanting a favour.

also sounds like they have acted thoroughly unprofessionally. Although I’m finding it hard to believe that 3m is accurate. It’ll be all based on best possible outcomes as well, such as if Grigg is here and scores 20 goals a season and we achieve two consecutive promotions. They are probably moving the goalposts but we probably aren’t too far away either. Add one condidrred

I don’t think anyone is suggesting we should have kept him but we let him go before finding a replacement and it’s meant clubs know we’re over a barrel. We didn’t need to rush him out before we’d agreed terms with someone else.

Also did I miss some news about him? I saw that he had said he no longer wants to play for safc but everyone is talking like he went on strike or something.

If there’s any truth in the reports that they now value him at £3m, maybe it’s their way of applying pressure on Grigg to hand in a transfer request (and saving themselves from paying out any loyalty payments).
