Will Grigg's on fire, signed!

Grigg scored 7 from limited starts last time they were in the Championship and 5 from 10 this year. He has over a 1 in 2 record in his career and scored 25+ a couple of times in League One. As for Dunne, SPL level Hearts wanted to keep him reportedly. Also both Wigan and Hearts fans are gutted their respective players are leaving on social media. I'd say both are big signings tbh.

What interested me was the Wigan manager stating his reasons for Grigg’s lack of pitch time this season. It was a very well thought out answer. He argued that he knew which combination of players brought out the best in Grigg and seeing as two of them were injured he wasn’t going to play Grigg. It just made me wonder whether we’ve assessed his style of play and have complimentary players or whether it’s simply a case of he’s done ok at this level previously and we’ll shoehorn him in.

An SAFC fan has tweeted him asking him his opinion of the bid for Grigg (why who knows? the SAFC fan has now deleted his original question), he has given his opinion
He tweets answers to questions about 30 times a day that fella

Exactly can't call DMcA creepy this time

It's not an isolated incident, though. I can't think of a single other chairman we've done business with or played against who has commented with this regularity, or last season for that matter. MacAnthony has been trying to get an advantage on us using social media all season; either by bigging us up and trying to apply pressure or remarking on finances to scupper deals and raise prices. It's transparent and sad as fuck.
