Doesn't mean he's going to do it though does it.
He won’t know will he. Can’t imagine we’re going to tell him we’re buying him then next season if/when we go up we will sell you to a league 1 club.

Next season, we contact one of the clubs that were relegated from championship and offer them the most prolific goal scorer in league 1 in recent years, they offer him the same wage as he’s on here. His choice, he either warms our bench in the championship or plays regularly in this league for new club on the same money. Given his age can’t imagine he’d want to hang around on our bench.

This transfer lark isn’t that difficult, I can’t understand how we’ve managed to make a dogs dinner of it for the last 10 years

Anyone know if we sign him in time can he play against City’s kids?

Grigg movement soon?

He'll know when he gets called into the managers office and told we're selling you to ???.
And his response is no thank you:lol:

There are no more League games after tomorrow until after the window shuts, so there is currently no immediate rush.
I read into the most recent quotes from the Wigan manager that we have made two bids, neither were accepted but if a bid comes in that is acceptable he will be away. The fact he’s said he can’t promise Wigan fans he won’t be away is telling for me
There is a degree of urgency to complete the deal because if it falls through at any point we aren't left with much time to sort another one out.

I am sure we will have other irons in the fire, if I had won the euro millions last night he wasnt our first choice :)
